Project Details

This project showcases a stunning–combining design and modern finishes with efficient functionality and enhanced spaces. The gourmet kitchen features custom cabinets, pantry, an oversized eat-in island, and large table space dining, while the French doors and wraparound deck lead to a lush fenced rear yard with off-street parking for two.

The upper level boasts three spacious bedrooms with expansive closets, multiple windows, and a convenient laundry closet. The primary bedroom features custom built-in closets, skylit vaulted ceilings with exposed brick, and a large custom bath. The finished lower level includes polished concrete floors, a wet bar with a drink refrigerator, live edge wood counters for office space, and an additional bedroom with its own entrance and full bath, making an Airbnb or in-law suite possible. The original basement of the house was modified to improve privacy. layout, and functionality to create the bedroom. Windows and openings on the back side were concealed, an opening was closed, and a small window was changed to a door. These changes greatly impacted the functionality of this space and allowed for the backyard to be finished. To retain the room’s height, the concrete floor was polished and sealed instead of being finished with flooring.

The project focused on preserving the character of the house by salvaging exterior materials and the interior stair well, reducing waste, and providing character. Existing barrier pieces were kept and refinished. Additionally, colors and materials were carefully chosen to create a seamless transition between the interior and exterior spaces, while adding contrast where possible.
