1. Construction Oversight
After the contractor has been awarded and the construction started we can provide site visits to evaluate progress and installation of materials. We have personally experienced contractors who have not shown up for work, not maintaining a standard of care for construction nor completed the work in a timely manner. Not every contractor conducts business like that but this phase is where we can provide consistent, knowledgeable eyes for your project. Not sure if what you are seeing is reasonable progress? We know what is reasonable and we know how long it should take. Although a simple solution, presence and experience can keep the project moving, address any events that come up in the field in a timely manner and avoid unnecessary expenditures.

2. Independent Verification
Want to make sure the installation is going according to manufacturers recommendations? Or perhaps you want to make sure a specific item is installed properly? For instance you had your backyard landscaped for $25,000 and it’s the spring after the work was complete. The contractor is long gone and you’ve discovered the contractor didn’t remove all the concrete as stated in the contract and the pipe they installed was too close to the exterior wall and is contributing to the water in your basement.

3.Punch List Development
Upon substantial completion of a project or phase, we can inspect the conditions and create a list of items that do not meet “standard of care” construction standards. This would be provided to the contractor to complete in order to be paid for completing the project.
