The affected footprint remained the same, which kept the demolition and plumbing costs low by not having to relocate or install new pipes. 

The renovation implemented smart, focused shifts to allow for increased storage capacity by 16 linear feet, integrated pull out trash and recycling bins, and added 5 feet of work surface. 

Expanded total counter space and added storage solutions with full upper cabinets, pull out drawers, spice rack pull out, built-in lazy-susan corner storage, under cabinet microwave, and extra-wide island with cabinets on the back side. No usable space was wasted. 

Incorporated a classic color palette and subtle whimsical touches with origami inspired hardware pulls and a pop of accent color on the adjoining wall.
