NestEgg Advisors was the Interior Designer on this renovation project. The existing first floor was demolished with most of the walls taken out to create an open floor plan and better flow of the main level. The front entry foyer was relocated to add a half bath and a new entry door. Another door was transitioned into a window to allow for more functional use of countertop space in the kitchen and allowing natural light in. The main stairwell was relocated from the living area to create a new door and access to the exterior side yard and garden. The lower level was partially finished and was updated; a second HVAC system installed, added kitchen, cabinetry, bedroom and bath with a walk out entrance making it a fully finished space with potential for renting or as an in-law suite. The renovation was successfully completed in 8 months.
